‘Being Born’ to screen next week in Iran

Iran cinemas are set to host new offering of director Mohsen Abdolvahab ‘Being Born’.

The notable Iranian flick has won noms for three categories of Best Actress, Best Editing and Best Music at Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

"A movie director finds out that his wife is pregnant with a second child. Struggling financially, they think about other options," the flick short synopsis reads.

Hedayat Hashemi, Elham Korda and Behnaz Jafari star in the film.

ifilmers may well remember Korda from ‘Angels Come Together’, ‘The Warped Interpretation of a Dream’ and ‘A Name’.

Elham Korda has a BA in dramatic arts. She began her artistic career with theater in 2001.

Korda has gone on stage in several plays and directed a play in 2011.
